Lie Shia Ong-Sintzel (lee-sha awng-sint-zelle) is a Seattle-based writer, editor, and producer with an extensive background in TV news and tech.

Currently, she manages a team of writers on the T Studios Web team at T-Mobile, where she has worked on campaigns such as Coverage Beyond, MLB, and It’s Better Over Here.

She has also worked for Automation Anywhere, one of the world’s leading robotic process automation (RPA) software companies, Azure Global Growth at Microsoft, Microsoft Store, MSN Video, Xbox, KIRO-TV, the CBS News affiliate in Seattle, KHQ-TV, the NBC News affiliate in Spokane, WA, and Good Morning America.

Her most notable celebrity interviews include: Carol Burnett, Amy Poehler, Larry Hagman, Kristin Chenoweth, David Arquette, Sean Astin, and Billy Dee Williams.

In 2014 she field produced for Talk it Up Productions, interviewing celebrities at former Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman’s second-annual charity softball tournament.

Lie Shia is a former Seattle Chapter President of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and past member of the Department of Communication Alumni Board at the University of Washington.

When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, gardening, and cheering for her hometown teams (Go Seahawks, Mariners and Huskies!).
